Making time for reading

Between graduation, work, and the holidays, I am not making enough time for reading. I am way behind. I am thisclose to finishing The Gift by Cecilia Ahern. I will be finished tomorrow. I really like it ALOT. It is a really sweet book. I have read one other title by Ahern and it was PS I Love You. I really enjoyed that one also. I have to go to bed otherwise I will never wake up in the morning.

Four days into December

I am almost finished with You Better Not Cry: Stories for Christmas
by Augusten Burroughs
I am not enjoying it as much as I have his other titles. I really liked Running with Scissors and Dry, but this one is TOTALLY not what I expected. When I think about Christmas reading, I imagine lighthearted and warm. This title is NEITHER! It does give you insight into Augusten's life, and he is a pretty interesting person.

I also recently finished reading Fat Cat by Robin Brande, which I REALLY REALLY liked ALOT. It was a great coming of age book about a slightly fluffy teen. I love reading YA and this title proves why. YA books are gaining popularity and the titles are hitting the shelves like nobody's business. Some of them are stinkers. Robin Brande also wrote Evolution, Me & Other Freaks of Nature which I read earlier this year. Another very good book. I look forward to her future offerings.

This weekend I plan on finishing Book Of The Dead by Patricia Cornwell, from my Patricia Cornwell self imposed challenge. And a happy Christmas book. *Hopefully*
